The Administration

The administration is housed in offices built in 1925 at the Main Kgotla where service provision is also rendered. The Kgotla is also the traditional venue for the Pitso ( a customary general assembly meeting ) which is convened by Kgosi to discuss and pass resolutions on important matters.

Members of staff handle daily administrative issues ranging from community policing to interfacing between government and the community.

  • 40 schools – Primary, Middle and High
  • Barolong Boora Tshidi Community Hall – a multi purpose center which hosts a variety of events ranging from weddings to government conferences.
